Findings: On or about February 9, 2021, the Alleged Victim (AV) was found on the floor of his/her room by staff after they heard a loud crash. AV is a known fall risk and is care planned to be checked hourly, to have non skid socks on at all times and for water to be on his/her night stand in order to reduce the amount of falls. On the night in question, AV had been checked, however, was not wearing non skid socks and did not have water on his/her night stand. The facility's failure to follow the care plan is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP21-03618 $500.00 fine assessed
