Findings: The facility failed to provide pain medication to the Alleged Victim (AV) as ordered, placing AV in unreasonable discomfort. AV did not receive pain medication or topical medication in January, February and March of 2021. There is no documentation showing that staff completed any assessment for pain for AV, ensuring that AV was not in pain and in need of pain medication. The facility was consistently short staffed and unable to meet the scheduled and unscheduled needs of the residents. The facility's failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
