Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection and was prescribed an injectable antibiotic. The medication arrived at the facility on March 20, 2021. There was not a nurse on staff that could administer the medication to AV and was not able to show up until the next day to administer the medication. AV was in pain while waiting to start the antibiotic. The facility's failure to administer medication as ordered is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
