Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) was a known to exit seek and had eloped the facility previously. On or about July 12, 2021, AV eloped the facility through a door where it was later discovered the batteries in the door alarm were weak and there were tree branches hanging over the fence that AV climbed, which could have facilitated in his/her elopement from the facility. The facility failed to provide a safe environment, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP21-03211 $375.00 fine assessed
