Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to manage his/her medications. The facility did not provide appropriate services according to AV’s needs, relating to physician’s orders and a safe medication administration system. According to an investigation, between May 1, 2021, and July 31, 2021, the facility did not check AV’s blood pressure or administer AV’s blood pressure medication as ordered on several occasions. On at least one occasion, the AV’s medication was missed due to not re-ordering timely. The facility's failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
