Findings: On or about August 14, 2021, the Alleged Victim (AV) was having his/her meal in the dining room. AV was walking away from the dining room when he/she fell and fractured his/her shoulder. AV is care planned to be escorted to and from the dining room to avoid falls. The facility failed to follow the care plan, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP21-03431 $500.00 fine assessed
