Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for his/her care. According to an investigation, on or about, September 13, 2021, AV experienced a fall that resulted in a skin tear. AV was sent to the doctor on or about September 23, 2021, and received an antibiotic. AV's wound continued to worsen, and AV did not receive a new antibiotic until approximately October 7, 2021. The facility failed to provide appropriate services according to the Alleged Victim (AV)'s needs, relating to timely medical treatment and documentation, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
