Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for his/her care. On or about February 12, 2022, staff noted an open leg wound on AV’s inner right leg and some scabbing on the inner left leg. On or about March 2, 2022, AV was admitted to the ER due to wounds that appeared infected on both his/her inner right and left legs. Both legs looked swollen and had puss coming out of them. Between February 13th, through March 1, 2022, there was no mentioned of AV’s leg wounds. The facility failed to provide oversight and monitoring of change of condition, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP22-01326 $1500.00 fine assessed
