Findings: The Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility for their care needs to include personal hygiene and total assistance with showers. Between January 2022, and February 2022, it was documented that AV received approximately four (4) showers, causing AV to smell “sour” and sweaty, resulting in a loss of AV’s personal dignity as well as skin breakdown that has now been resolved. The facility failed to follow the care plan, which is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: RCFCP22-01566 $500.00 fine assessed
