Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to administer his/her medications. AV’s care plan indicated that ordering medications from Veterans Administration required a 10 to 14-day lead time to prevent AV from missing scheduled medications. The facility failed to ordering AV’s medications in a timely manner to prevent AV from missing scheduled medications for the following medications: Famotine 40mg, not dispensed February 9th through 12th, 2022, Levothyroxine 50mcg, not dispensed February 9th, through February 12th, 2022. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system for AV, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
