Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to manage his/her pain. Staff are to reposition AV frequently to help with his/her pain. AV will yell out in pain when he/she is being rotated. It was recommended by Infinity Rehab that AV get Baclofen for his/her pain but there was no Baclofen on AVs MAR. There are no other interventions by the facility to help reduce AV’s pain. The facility failed to provide appropriate pain control, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP22-01029 $500.00 fine assessed
