Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) has a known history of touching other resident’s belongings. On or about February 5, 2024, AV was being escorted into the dining room when he/she reached out and touched Witness 1’s (W1’s) hat. As a result, W1 stood up and punched AV. AV and W1 have had a prior altercation on or about February 3, 2024. The facility failed to provide a safe environment for AV, putting AV in risk of harm, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP24-00245 $500.00 fine assessed
