Findings: Witness 1 (W1) has history of touching other residents’ belongings, leading to resident-to-resident altercations. On or about February 9, 2024, W1 tried to take Alleged Victim’s (AV’s) walker, when AV said no, W1 attacked AV by clawing at him/her. As a result, AV’s right hand was injured. The facility failed to provide a safe environment for AV known of W1’s known behaviors of touching other residents’ belongings, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitute abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP26-00026 $375.00 fine assessed
