Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to administer his/her medication. On or about October 2, 2024, Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) checked out narcotic PRNs for seven (7) residents, however, no PRN medication was requested by staff. On or about October 2, 2024. AP2 tested positive for narcotics during a facility provided UA. The facility ignored staff members testimony regarding narcotics possible theft. AP2 failed provide a safe medication administration system, which is neglect of care and constitutes abuse. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP25-00135 $500.00 fine assessed
