Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to administer his/her medication. On or about October 2, 2024, Alleged Perpetrator 2 (AP2) signed out PRN narcotics for AV and six (6) other residents. Staff did not request any PRN narcotics for AV and the six other resident. On or about October 3, 2024, AP2 tested positive for narcotics during a mandatory UA. The facility was notified by staff of AP2’s behaviors and errors in the narcotic log on multiple occasions. AP2 failed provide a safe medication administration system, which is neglect of care and constitutes abuse. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system, which is a violation of resident rights, is neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
Sanction: ALFCP25-00133 $500.00 fine assessed
