Findings: Alleged Victim (AV) relies on the facility to administer his/her medications. AV’s service plan indicates medications will be set and administered according with the physician's medication/treatment orders. AV did not receive h/h diuretic medication as ordered from October 1, 2024, to October 6, 2024, which caused swelling in AV's legs and weight gain of nearly 5 lbs. The facility failed to provide a safe medication administration system to ensure AV's medications were available and administered as ordered. The failure is a violation of resident rights, is considered neglect of care and constitutes abuse.
